Air source heat pump

Air source heat pump is a fridge in reverse. The pump absorbs heat from the air and boosts it to a higher temperature using a compressor. Then it transfers the heat to your home powering your radiators, underfloor heating and hot water supply.

Ground Source heat pump

Ground source heat pumps can be installed in 2 different ways depending on the space available at the property. It works by mixing water and anti-freeze (this is safe to use) and pumping it into the ground where it absorbs naturally occurring heat. The water mixture is then compressed and goes through a heat exchanger. The heat is then transferred to your home in the same way as Air Source

Whilst we are refocusing our efforts to green renewable solutions, we are qualified, Gas Safe engineers with 25 years in the business.

Rich has been working successfully as a plumbing and heating engineer in Gloucestershire for over 20 years. Rich brings his wealth of experience and reputation for delivering a high level of workmanship and professionalism to GHG. Over the years Rich has developed excellent relationships with customers and an extensive network of trade, manufacturers and suppliers and is well regarded throughout the county. Since 2021 Rich has been dedicated to providing renewable energy solutions to his customers, not just for the sake of our planet, but also helping people save money on their energy bills. Rich is a father of two and a qualified swimming coach delivering swimming lessons to children in his spare time.

Tim is a plumber with a background in bathroom installations and a clear focus on quality, attention to detail, and customer care. Since co-founding GHG with Rich, Tim has been dedicated to developing his expertise in renewable energy technologies and delivering practical, low-carbon solutions for homes across Gloucestershire. Prior to entering the renewables sector, Tim built a successful career in finance and IT, gaining extensive experience in customer service, systems management, and project delivery. During this time he received awards for excellence in customer service and achieved a Diploma in Management Studies. At GHG, Tim balances hands-on site work with project management and coordination, ensuring every installation is delivered professionally and to a high standard. Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his son and has a long-standing passion for film.

Having successfully owned and operated his own business for more than a decade, Dave brings a proven track record of excellence, precision, and trusted customer care. Now part of Green Homes Gloucestershire, Dave applies his extensive technical expertise to the delivery of sustainable, energy-efficient heating and plumbing solutions. With a strong focus on quality, innovation, and long-term performance, he plays a key role in helping homeowners transition to greener, more efficient homes.

Campbell has been a builder for over 20 years, with extensive experience in property renovation; specialising in kitchen and bathroom fitting as well as installing heating and electrical systems. Campbell’s focus is in managing customer liaison, ensuring engineers are scheduled correctly, and customer enquiries are followed up promptly. “After 20 years in the construction industry running my own property renovation business, I felt it was a great time to move to this exciting renewable energy and heating technology.” Having managed his own companies, Campbell brings a wealth of organisational and administration skills, allowing the engineers to focus on the practicalities of renewable installations.
